We are currently the largest North American producer of USP Food Grade Glycerin that is both kosher and halal certified, with a production capacity of 80 million pounds per year. Our glycerin is 100% vegetable-based, produced from oilseeds harvested and crushed in North America. It has a minimum 99.7% purity specification and is consistently among the highest quality available anywhere.
Louis Dreyfus Company Agricultural Industries LLC (LDCAI), a subsidiary of Louis Dreyfus Company, is based in Claypool, Indiana. The Claypool manufacturing facility is fully-integrated, comprised of a soybean crush plant, a biodiesel plant, and a glycerin refinery at the same location. Louis Dreyfus Company has marketed U.S. produced crude glycerin since 2007, when our Claypool, Indiana facility began operations. We began marketing USP Food Grade Glycerin in 2015 with the addition of a new onsite refinery.
