Welcome to OJ’s Halal Meat and Deli! We are a family-owned, local butcher shop located in the Castle Downs neighbourhood in North Edmonton.
It’s been three decades since our family arrived in Canada, but our family business did not start there. To start, we have to go way back!
The family business technically started about 200 years ago back in our home country of Lebanon. The “original” Original Jomha’s still exists back home in Lala, Lebanon, where it’s just known as Jomha’s. Today, we proudly carry the same traditions from that iconic location right here in Edmonton.
As of today, there have been six generations of Jomha butchers. Nearly two centuries later, we still operate with the same passion for food, community, and family.
