Since its inception, Sepha Foods has continuously strived to be a leader in the kosher foods manufacturing industry in Ontario. Our journey is one of evolution, growth, and a commitment to culinary excellence.
Founded in 2012, Sepha Foods embarked on a mission to become the leading choice for kosher retail institutional foods in Ontario. This vision led to a significant milestone in 2014 when Sepha Foods merged with Koshertrends by Mona Pasternak, uniting under the trading name Sepha Catering Ltd. This merger set the stage for a broader impact on the kosher food industry.
One of our pivotal achievements came with the successful launch of our line of institutional meals, trays, and TV dinners. These meals were meticulously designed to cater to the unique dietary needs of hospitals, long-term care facilities, and correctional centers. Our dedication to quality and adherence to the standards of kosher and vegetarian halal set us apart as a trusted partner in the institutional food sector.
By 2015, Sepha Foods had extended its reach to include clients from correctional institutions and Circle of Care, supporting its “Kosher Meals on Wheels” program. We take pride in having continuously renewed our contracts with Federal Institutions and Circle of Care, reaffirming our commitment to excellence and reliability. Moreover, Sepha Foods became the trusted supplier for North York General and Baycrest Hospitals, reinforcing our reputation for providing top-tier kosher meals to healthcare institutions.
In a significant development, Sepha Foods acquired the food production rights to Norene Gilletz Kitchen. This collaboration has allowed us to bring the culinary expertise of multi-award-winning cookbook author Norene Gilletz to retail stores across Ontario. Our valued customers can find Norene’s popular products at stores like Metro, Sobeys, Real Canadian Superstore and Loblaws.
At Sepha Foods, our journey is driven by an unwavering commitment to quality, innovation, and a dedication to meeting the diverse dietary needs of our clients. As we look back on our history, we remain focused on the future, where we aspire to continue setting the highest standards in the kosher food industry.
