Ahmet Çelik is the first campus imam and Muslim student advisor at Colgate University, he serves as a spiritual and intellectual resource for Muslim students and the wider campus community. Çelik is a Ph.D. candidate and instructor in Religion and Middle Eastern Studies at Syracuse University, bringing both academic expertise and pastoral care to his role. At Colgate, he leads the Muslim Student Association (MSA), supports interfaith dialogue, and helps foster inclusivity through initiatives like the dedicated prayer space on Broad Street. His appointment marked a historic step in strengthening Colgate’s commitment to diversity and religious life.
