Ali Kakhbod is an Assistant Professor of Finance at the Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from MIT and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science from the University of Michigan. His research sits at the intersection of financial economics, machine learning, information frictions, and big data, and he teaches courses on machine learning and AI applications in finance and economics.
