Reza Ghodssi is a Distinguished University Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Maryland, College Park, where he holds the Herbert Rabin Distinguished Chair in Engineering and directs the MEMS Sensors and Actuators Laboratory. His research focuses on micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS), biofabrication, and microsystems for healthcare and energy applications. He has received major honors including the NSF CAREER Award (2002), the UMD Distinguished Scholar-Teacher Award (2014), and the American Vacuum Society Gaede-Langmuir Award (2024).
