Shideh Dashti is a Professor of Geotechnical Engineering in Civil, Environmental, and Architectural Engineering at CU Boulder, and Associate Chair for Administration. Her research focuses on geotechnical earthquake engineering, soil-structure interaction, and liquefaction. She has received major honors including the 2025 EERI Distinguished Lecture Award and the 2021 ASCE Walter L. Huber Research Prize, and with over 4,900 citations and an h-index of 38, she is a leading voice in earthquake engineering and geomechanics.
