Mohammad Kabir Hassan is a Bangladeshi-American economist and a Professor of Finance at the University of New Orleans (UNO). He specializes in Islamic banking and finance, corporate finance, and development economics. Over his career, he has consulted for major institutions such as the International Monetary Fund, World Bank, Islamic Development Bank, African Development Bank, and Transparency International Bangladesh.
