Dr. Mehrdad Arjomandi, MD is a physician-scientist and educator at UCSF. He is a Professor of Medicine in Pulmonary, Critical Care, Allergy, and Sleep Medicine, as well as Occupational, Environmental, and Climate Medicine. His work focuses on how environmental exposures (pollutants, toxicants, tobacco smoke, burn pits) affect lung and heart health, and he leads major research and clinical programs for both UCSF and the VA.
