Ahmet Ay is a Professor of Biology and Mathematics at Colgate University and serves as Director of the Picker Interdisciplinary Science Institute. He earned his BS from Bilkent University and his Ph.D. from Michigan State University. His specialties include systems biology, mathematical biology, bioinformatics, mathematical modeling, machine learning, molecular clocks, and biological regulatory networks.
