The Islamic Education Foundation of NJ (IEF) was originally founded in 1984 as ‘Al-Ghazaly School’ offering K-12 classes at the site of the Islamic Center of Jersey City near Communipaw Ave. The pioneers of this effort aspired to establish an Islamic environment for future generations.
It was the first Islamic School to serve the Muslim population in Northern NJ. As the community grew rapidly in the 1990s, 3 mosques (ICJC, ICPC & NHIEC) worked together to expand islamic education by forming the current IEF organization. Accredited by: Cognia
