Alif Institute, Atlanta’s Arab American cultural center, is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization with a mission to foster the understanding and appreciation of Arab cultures. Our vision is one world, united through the power of arts and culture.
A resource for the metro area and beyond for all who have an interest in Arab cultures, we teach [Arabic language (in-person and live online), cooking, music, dance, art, and more], give cultural presentations to schools and organizations, and celebrate all things Arab and Arab American through cultural events, lectures, film screenings, and performances. Each year, in September, we host the Annual Atlanta Arab Festival, a weekend long celebration of Arab cultures and Arab Americans that draws thousands of attendees from around Georgia and neighboring states.
Alif nurtures connections within our diverse Arab American community as well as reaching beyond to create relationships across traditions and identities. We welcome everyone and anyone who enjoys Arab cultures.
