Amir Mirmiran is a Professor of Civil Engineering at the University of Texas at Tyler, serving as Chief Research Officer and Dean of the Graduate School. He earned his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the University of Maryland (1991) and his B.S. from the University of Tehran (1984). His research focuses on FRP composites, ultra‑high performance concrete, and bridge engineering.
