Amir Sheikhi is an Associate Professor of Chemical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering at Penn State University, where he also holds the Dorothy Foehr Huck and J. Lloyd Huck Early Career Chair in Biomaterials and Regenerative Engineering. He leads the Bio-Soft Materials Laboratory (B-SMaL), focusing on microfluidic-enabled biomaterials, hydrogels, bioadhesives, and tissue engineering platforms. His research develops next-generation soft materials for medicine and environmental applications, including self-healing hydrogels, bioadhesives, and smart coatings.
