Dr. Armin Afshar, MD, MBA, MAS is an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at UCSF. He directs the Ocular Oncology Service, specializing in eye tumors and vitreoretinal diseases, and leads NIH-funded research on uveal melanoma and retinoblastoma. Alongside his clinical and research work, he mentors medical students, residents, and fellows, making him both a physician scientist and an educator at UCSF.
