City of Knowledge (CFK) is a Shi’a Islamic Center in the greater DFW area under the helm of our Resident Alim, Shaykh Mahdi Rastani. A membership-driven Islamic center, with its values built on three pillars – faith, education and service – CFK strives to cater to the needs of the community as a whole, with an emphasis on the youth.
Being an Alim-driven / scholar-guided center, we firmly believe that an Islamic center should not be limited to ritualistic practices only. An effective Islamic center should emphasize on educating the community with knowledge of the religion, strengthening the foundations of our faith, provide social services, and help with community building.
