Farzaneh Najafi is an Assistant Professor in the School of Biological Sciences at Georgia Tech and leads the Najafi Laboratory for Systems, Behavioral, and Computational Neuroscience. She earned her Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the University of Pennsylvania, where she studied cerebellar circuits and motor learning. Her research explores how neural circuits in the cortex and cerebellum support predictive processing, behavior, and learning. Using rodent models, neurophysiological recordings, and computational approaches, her lab investigates mechanisms underlying psychiatric and neurological disorders.
