Dr. Hamid Pourshojae is a specialty care physician board certified in general surgeon at Inova. He has surgical interests in the areas of bariatric surgery, gallbladder surgery, hernia problems/surgery and treatment options, and minimally invasive surgery. He has over 28 years of experience and has performed thousands of robotic and laparoscopic bariatric and general surgery cases.
Prior to joining Inova, Dr. Pourshojae led a private surgical practice where he performed many advanced laparoscopic and robotic procedures including robotic and laparoscopic bariatric, robotic and laparoscopic gastric and small bowel surgery, colon surgery, and robotic and laparoscopic hernia repair.
