Dr. Hasan Baig is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at the University of Connecticut (UConn). He has also served as Director of the Computer Science program at UConn Stamford. Before joining UConn, he was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at UConn Health in the Mendes Research Group, where he developed cloud-based computational tools for systems biology. His research spans Genetic Design Automation (GDA), cloud computing, embedded systems, computer architectures, fault‑tolerant systems, human‑machine interactions, and educational technology (EdTech).
