Hassan El‑Kishky is a Professor and Chair of Electrical Engineering at the University of Texas at Tyler. He earned his B.Sc. in Electric Power Systems from Ain Shams University (Cairo, Egypt), followed by his M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Assiut University (Egypt) and Arizona State University (Tempe, AZ). His research spans power systems, smart grids, aircraft electrical systems, and advanced energy technologies. He is also an active contributor to the IEEE community with publications on voltage stability, distribution networks, and electric aircraft systems.
