Irfan Khan is a technology executive and educator based in San Diego. He has over 30 years of experience at Qualcomm, Ericsson, and SRI International, where he worked on system solutions, ASICs, cellular infrastructure, and communication networks. He is the founder of Medzair Technologies and has also been active in San Diego’s startup ecosystem as an angel investor and advisor. He serves as adjunct faculty at UC San Diego and San Diego State University, teaching courses in engineering and machine learning. His research and teaching interests include AI/ML, system architecture, wireless technology, SoCs, MedTech, and data science. He is also a co‑inventor on several patents.
