Islamic Center of Lafayette was incorporated on December 17, 1980 in the city of Lafayette, Parish of Lafayette and the State of Louisiana as non profit under United States Code, Article 26:501 (C) (3), for the basic premise of the furtherance of the educational purposes, community involvement and religious principals of persons of the Islamic Faith.
