Dr. Laksari graduated from University of Tehran with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. He received his PhD from Temple University in Mechanical Engineering, with a focus in injury biomechanics. He then went to Stanford University as a postdoctoral scholar. Prior to joining UCR, he was an Assistant Professor of Biomedical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering at the University of Arizona. He is a recipient of the NIH Trailblazer Award.
