Kenan Hazirbaba is a Professor of Civil Engineering at the University of Texas at Tyler, specializing in geotechnical engineering, soil improvement, and site characterization. He earned his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from UT Austin (2005) and previously studied at Boğaziçi University and Istanbul Technical University. He is also a licensed Professional Engineer in Alaska with extensive teaching and research experience in civil and construction engineering.
