Khosro Ghobadi-Far is an Assistant Professor in the Ann and H.J. Smead Department of Aerospace Engineering Sciences at the University of Colorado Boulder and a Fellow at CIRES. He earned his PhD in Geodesy from the University of Newcastle and previously held postdoctoral positions at Virginia Tech and Newcastle. His research focuses on satellite geodesy, astrodynamics, and Earth observation, with applications in navigation, gravity field modeling, GNSS, and InSAR for environmental monitoring. With over 500 citations, he is establishing himself as a rising scholar bridging aerospace engineering and Earth sciences.
