Mohammad Mehdi Khorrami is a Clinical Professor of Persian Language and Literature at NYU. His main focus is modern Persian fiction, studied alongside classical Persian traditions. He also researches classical Persian poetry and prose up to the 14th century. Khorrami has written books like Modern Reflections of Classical Traditions in Persian Fiction and Who Writes Iran?. He co‑edited collections on Persian literature in migration and Iranian women’s writing. His work connects classical aesthetics with contemporary Persian storytelling.
