Motasem Kalaji is an Assistant Professor of Communication Studies at California State University, Northridge (CSUN). He earned his B.S. in Communication from Northwestern University in Qatar (2013), followed by an M.S. (2020) and Ph.D. (2022) in Communication from Cornell University. His academic work focuses on media studies, communication theory, and cultural perspectives in global contexts. He joined CSUN in 2022 as part of the Mike Curb College of Arts, Media, and Communication.
