Parinaz Naghizadeh is an Assistant Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD), where she also holds an affiliation with The Design Lab. She leads the MINDS Lab, focusing on decision making and learning in networks (such as network games, multi-agent reinforcement learning, and optimization in graphs) and the ethics and economics of AI (including algorithmic fairness, data biases, and human-in-the-loop systems). Her research has been supported by the National Science Foundation, Amazon, and Cisco, and she was honored with UCSD’s Outstanding Mentor Award in 2025.
