Rahim Esfandyar-Pour is an Assistant Professor at the University of California, Irvine (UCI), with joint appointments in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, and Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. He earned his Ph.D. (2014) and M.Sc. (2011) in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University. His research spans nanotechnology, flexible electronics, MEMS/NEMS, wearable bio-devices, biosensors, microfluidics, and IoT-enabled biomedical systems, with applications in personalized medicine, point-of-care diagnostics, and physiological monitoring.
