Dr. Reza Sheikhi is an Associate Professor in Residence at the University of Connecticut (UConn) in Mechanical Engineering. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Pittsburgh after completing earlier studies at Sharif University of Technology and SUNY Buffalo. His research focuses on computational fluid dynamics, multiphase flows, combustion, and energy systems. Before joining UConn, he taught at Northeastern University and worked in industry as a design engineer. At UConn, he also serves as Associate Director of the School of Mechanical, Aerospace, and Manufacturing Engineering.
