Sattar Taheri‑Araghi is an Associate Professor of Physics and Astronomy at California State University, Northridge (CSUN). He earned his B.S. from Sharif University of Technology (2003) and his M.S. (2006) and Ph.D. (2010) in Physics from the University of Waterloo. After completing postdoctoral work at Harvard University and UC San Diego, he joined CSUN in 2015. His research integrates statistical physics and experimental biology, with a focus on bacterial physiology, single‑cell techniques, and antimicrobial peptides as potential solutions to antibiotic resistance.
