Shabana Mir is an Associate Professor of Anthropology at the American Islamic College in Chicago and serves as the Director of the Undergraduate Program. She is best known for her award‑winning book Muslim American Women on Campus: Undergraduate Social Life and Identity (UNC Press, 2014).
