Shahnam Mirzaei is an associate professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the California State University, Northridge. He has received his PhD from University of California, Santa Barbara, M.Sc. from California State University, Northridge, and his B.Sc. from University of Tehran. Dr. Mirzaei has several years of experience in industry in the field of digital design and signal processing from 1999 to 2013. He has joined CSUN as assistant professor in 2013.
