Shima Nazari is an Assistant Professor of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the University of California, Davis. She earned her Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan (2019), along with an M.S. in Electrical Engineering (2016). Prior to that, she completed her B.S. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering at Sharif University of Technology in Iran. Her research focuses on energy storage systems, battery management, and control theory, with applications in electrified transportation and sustainable energy technologies.
