Located at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC), SJP is a solidarity organization with the purpose of organizing for Palestinian human rights that are violated by the settler and apartheid state of Israel. We also advocate for the self determination of the Palestinian people.
We are an intersectional organization and believe that Palestinian liberation strongly aligns with other movements such as Black rights, LGBTQ+, Indigenous rights, the Philippines, etc.
ALL are encouraged to join. You do not need to be Palestinian to be in SJP; you do not need to be Palestinian to fight for Palestinian liberation!

Many resources in this website will also help educate you if you are not educated about the occupation. We hope to answer any questions you may have, but remind you that human rights are not up for debate.
