The Western Massachusetts Coalition for Palestine (WMCP) was formed in the aftermath of the Israeli government attack on the Freedom Flotilla in the predawn hours of May 31, 2010 which resulted in 9 deaths and numerous wounded. We are a group of students, workers, and community members who have come together to stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people in their fight for justice and equality in historic Palestine. In 2023, we renewed our commitment to working in solidarity with the Palestinian people. We oppose Israel’s genocidal war, and we call for a permanent ceasefire, an end to the siege on Gaza, and an end to the occupation. We also recommit ourselves to the Palestinian call for Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions.
