Yousif Ahmad, PhD, MBBS is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at UCSF and an Interventional Cardiologist. He specializes in complex coronary artery disease and valvular heart disease, with expertise in chronic total occlusion PCI (CTO PCI) and transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR). Before joining UCSF, he directed the Complex and High-Risk PCI Program at Yale University, and he is among the few physicians to have completed dedicated fellowships in both Complex PCI (Columbia University) and Structural Heart Disease (Cedars-Sinai Medical Center).
