Zahra Sharifiheris is an Assistant Professor of Nursing at California State University, Northridge (CSUN). She earned her B.S.N. (2015) from Zabol University of Medical Sciences, her M.S.N. (2017) from Iran University of Medical Sciences, and her Ph.D. (2023) in Nursing Science from UC Irvine. Her research focuses on maternal and neonatal health, predictive models for complications such as preterm birth and gestational diabetes, and the use of AI and wearable devices in healthcare. She has also worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at UCLA in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology and the School of Nursing. In short, Dr. Sharifiheris is a nursing professor at CSUN specializing in maternal health and AI‑driven clinical innovation.
